There's multiple classes, which are largely defined by their starting loadouts (you can change their starting weapons, but most have restrictions on what you can take), and a skill tree which tends to focus on 2 or 3 different weapons. The other two maps are not appreciably more difficult. With all of the meta upgrades, you can literally AFK all 5 missions in the first map. With no meta upgrades, it's essentially impossible to complete 2 missions in the first map (each map has 5 missions, and you can choose how many you want to take when you start the level ends when all missions you took are complete). The main problem is that your success is largely tied to metaprogression. It took about 6.5 hours to 100% the game (all achievements, all in-game progression unlocked, all content completed), which is fine for a $3 game. This is one where I'd give a neutral review if that were possible.įirst impression was that it's budget Vampire Survivors, and that impression held up throughout the game.
